WHERE AM I? That is the central question posed in this series about the disorientation of the body. Composed pieces of

cardboard are the surface material for oil paintings that function as sculptures that can be installed in various configurations in a

room. As with the idea of quantum energy, I am driven by the idea of pushing through space in flexible and mysterious

channels. This allowed me to experiment with painting in new ways.  

By choosing cropped parts of my body, I can work more metaphorically, much like how poems simplify or restructure phrases

and narratives. I think this allows the viewer to view the works more abstractly and sit between the physical and spiritual realms.
